What is the best gamer laptop/computer for less than 500$?
I havent played computer video games in hella long and im going to rip off my balls if i dont play some soon. I got money but not that much for a laptop or computer and i want it for games. Any suggestions plZ? for sake of my balls
If you’re on a budget, and you want to do gaming, there are 2 things you should keep in mind:
1) Skip a laptop and go with a desktop computer. Laptops cost more than desktop systems, and if you go with a laptop on a budget then you are going to have to make sacrifices in performance that would impact gaming.
2) Avoid Intel based systems and go with AMD. If you are going for performance and price doesn’t matter, then Intel is definitely the way to go. But when you are on a budget, and you aren’t getting the best machine, AMD is a better choice. You’ll simply get more for your $500 with an AMD than you would with an Intel.
Just make sure you get a decent video card (and there are many good prices on some decent budget cards these days).
You can find a barebone systems (and full systems) on TigerDirect or NewEgg in that price range easily, especially if you are comfortable with (or know someone who can) put together a kit. You might even find a decent refurbished system for less than $500, though I’d prefer the barebones route myself.
It depends on the game you have in mind. New games are very demanding in terms of CPU and GPU. You won’t find a good gaming laptop for that price. You could get a laptop for that price but you will just be disappointed with the performance. You need to add a couple hundred bucks more.
