compaq is the best but you can’t get lots of memory for under 500.00 – - by the way the display (graphics) card is what you need to focus on for games and you would have to buy a new one if you expect to soar in that world. music is no problem with out of the box 500.00 compaq.

Dude try an acer I have one and its got ok memory and was dirt cheap but you will get more if your not a DS and build your own
