I am using HP, and its working fine from past 1nd half year except that 2-3 small problems.
That time it was costly though but now its not that much costly….. So, you can go for HP….
By far Apple is the best. It’s okay if you don’t think so… they are kind of expensive. you should get an iBook for $999-$1200 or a MacBook Pro, ( i recommend it) it is three thousand dollars and you can get them from apple.com or an apple store… if they are out of your price range I recommend a Dell.
in my opinion dell makes the very best laptops, i had a dell that lasted 10 years, just sold it last year and it was in still good working condition, also i hear sony makes a good laptop with the sony vaio series.

I like Dell. Great balance of price and power. HP is good but expensive. Sony is expensive by default.
DELL is the best… great in price and service… by rate i would give: Dell > Apple (ONLY if u r in the US) > Toshiba…

If your looking for a pc, HP would be one of the best brands. Also you could consider a mac too.
