I orginally really wanted to get a Macbook, either higher or lower end (didn’t really matter), but with 2 GB RAM (that’s the main thing I’m interested in). I have been leaning away from that idea because I would just be using windows anyway. I was willing to spend the extra money because the virus risk was so low. But I figured I would just get a decent security program…I was referred to look at Toshiba, HP-Business, and Lenovo ThinkPad computers. I am recently interested in a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510(59012698) Intel Core 2 Duo T5450(1.66GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 2GB Memory 160GB HDD Dual layer DVD Burner Intel GMA X3100 NoteBook. I’m not too sure about the others. I mainly want a reliable laptop with Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. It’s just for writing papers, nothing too fancy like arcitecture or something. I am kind of nervous about the Vista system but I’ll just have to deal with it if I’m getting a Windows based computer.
