I want to install windows vista on my MacBook, however I am not sure if a Windows Vista Business 32BIT reinstallation CD would work. I purchased a Dell Laptop about 2 years ago. The CD came with the computer. Will the CD work?

Im going to university next fall and I was wondering what is the best laptop out.

I was thinking MAC book pro..
but whats the difference between macbook and macbook pro?

I need something that will last all 4 years.

I’m looking for a new laptop computer to replace it, and I want to make sure that I choose the right one.
I’m going to art school in the fall to study animation and game design. I like to game, also, but price is still important. I’m looking for something under 0.
I wouldn’t mind buying it used online.
I just need to figure out what laptop is right for me.

I’ve been researching for a laptop for a few months now. I orginally really wanted to get a Macbook, either higher or lower end (didn’t really matter), but with 2 GB RAM (that’s the main thing I’m interested in). I have been leaning away from that idea because I would just be using windows anyway. I was willing to spend the extra money because the virus risk was so low. But I figured I would just get a decent security program…I was referred to look at Toshiba, HP-Business, and Lenovo ThinkPad computers. I am recently interested in a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510(59012698) Intel Core 2 Duo T5450(1.66GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 2GB Memory 160GB HDD Dual layer DVD Burner Intel GMA X3100 NoteBook. I’m not too sure about the others. I mainly want a reliable laptop with Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. It’s just for writing papers, nothing too fancy like arcitecture or something. I am kind of nervous about the Vista system but I’ll just have to deal with it if I’m getting a Windows based computer.

Hello I plan on taking computer science in the fall. I have a 3 year old compaq laptop with a dying battery (it can only last about an hour unplugged), and I’m thinking of buying a new laptop soon. I’m thinking of keeping the compaq because it’s windows then getting a macbook.

Here are some preferences:
Size: 11"-14"
Speed, memory, and the ability to play DVDs are among my priorities
I’m hoping it will last for at least 4 years

i would like to get some speakers with good bass for my macbook..
