I am looking for a laptop computer to start my bookkeeping business? I want a good laptop and I am sort of a cluts (falling down or tripping), If I get laptop, I would need to get service plan. I am considering buying laptops from Circuit City, Best Buy or Wal-Mart. I like would like to buy a dell, but I really do not want to be paying bucks for the next 4 years. i.Where would you buy the laptop computer if the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the U.S. dollar is U.S. {content}.80 per Canadian dollar?
ii.Where would you re-sell it if you wanted to make a profit? (Ignore any taxes, tariffs, transportation costs, and differences in quality).
iii.Does purchasing power parity hold?
iv.If many Canadian and American businesses acted like you, and if he exchange rate was flexible, what would happen to the value of the exchange rate?
v.What would be the new equilibrium exchange rate that would make purchasing power parity hold for laptops, if the U.S. dollar price and the Canadian dollar price stayed constant?

there is a website you can go to to compare cell phones. Is there one I can go to to compare laptops? I have to purchase one for use at home and at a small business. thank you in advance for information.

I will be going to college this fall and will study Computer Science and Business Management. I am trying to decide which laptop I want to get. Price isn’t really a huge issue but I really don’t want a Dell and I can’t get a Mac because of college preferences. I am currently considering either a Sony Vaio ( E Series or F Series) or an HP (dv6t or dv7t). If anyone has any info on these 4 laptops or comments that might help me I would really appreciate it.

I need a laptop for work and, as stated above, business matters. I am quite familiar with specifications for computers but not with laptops.

Preferably:
-no less than 17" screen
-good speed
-at least 250gb, 300+ would be great
-good battery (long-lasting)
-video card to support hd viewing
-price, up to 0-0 is fine

Have been looking at some laptops and was thinking about purchasing one tomorrow, but first I would like to know which laptop seems to be the best as far as performance, quality, longevity, etc. or are all laptops pretty much the same. Dont want to spend more then 00. Thank you!

In 2007 I purchased a laptop and computer both for 0 each which are used for my Internet business…Can I deduct the total cost of ,800? Or if I can’t deduct ,800…what is the amount I can deduct?
Yes they are solely for business…I have 3 laptops and 1 desktop and the other two I had prior to 2007, I use for non-business reasons and I don’t want any deductions for those two older laptops.
