Need a lot of battery life, of course. I will be using it mostly for photo editing. I will also use it for video editing and music stuff like iTunes and such. What is the best brand and model at a fairly cheap price? Dell, HP, Toshiba?

I don’t really need it for things like gaming, but I work with videos and media in general… programs like sony vegas, fx etc.. So what brand shoud I get? Gateway? HP? Acer?
Dual Core or i3/i5 etc?
I’m not exactly a pro at choosing the right technology, so I really need help :(

Oh, also I’ve been told to build one from scratch, but I don’t like the risks that come along with the parts not working together etc, just …no.

I am hearing they are "going out of business" or PC business or whatever. Is this true? What exactly will happen to current PCS, laptops and so on? Will this mean in the future, they can’t have parts replaced, or the computer can’t be fixed?

Ive been interested in getting an HP ENVY laptop from HP for a long time. Now I finally have enough money and i am hearing about this.

Should I NOT purchase this laptop ive waited for? I dont want to buy a laptop that will not be able to be fixed, or have parts replaced. Please, fill me in more on this issue. Contradicting news articles just confused me even more.

only computer company’s that have there products in stores.
Besides DELL and those kiosks at the malls, I haven’t found a
store yet that you could walk into and buy an IBM which is what

HP desktop that I bought last year just cause of the lightscribe
technology I thought it was cool, but I fell for it when I
should ve waited. I really don’t like hp because my friend also
