My dad wants a business computer and I want a laptop. He said that we might be better off with 2 model B laptops as model C desktop has less hard drive memory than model B and is more expensive. I need advice please?
A friend of mine told me that vista did have a lot of bugs, at the beginning. But they fixed it

What would be a good laptop to buy that has Windows XP installed? I don’t want Vista due to compatibility issues. I’m looking for one with 2-4 megs of memory, any size hard drive and a big display. I’m not worried about a compact laptop because it won’t leave the building, it will just move from room to room. Looking for a full-powered machine with DVD drive, not a netbook-type.

My buddy gave me this laptop a customer gave him from his computer repair business that he can’t get to turn on, and he wants me to sell it on eBay. I know I can sell it, but I’m afraid I might in some way get in trouble for it. Should I cross out all the numbers on the outside? Also, I was going to keep the hard drive cause I don’t know what’s on it, but would there be any other information stored on the laptop that would be bad?

I am currently using a Dell Inspiron 1505 laptop for for homework, internet, and occasionally World of Warcraft. All three (especially WoW) are insanely slow and im looking for a desktop computer instead of another laptop. I did some searching on the web and thought that the Gateway – Desktop with AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core Processor looked like a good deal for the money. 2.7Ghz, plenty of RAM, hard drive, but im not sure whether theres an underlying problem that would conflict with my three uses on this computer. I would prefer no lag at all on WoW even on the highest video qualities. If you have any suggestions on upgrades for that desktop that i could install or any other desktop, please post. Thanks

I need ram and lots of hard drive space, i need it to be fast and have great graphic card. Also would help to have a medium to semi high res/and a good screen..

im not sure how much ill get back but maybe ill get roughly 900.00 to 1,000. Im not sure yet.. so what brands would be best to you?

This computer is not for gaming. It is for geneology files that need a lot of space, at least 350gb hard drive space.

my laptop use to be windows vista home basic, the i got the discs and i turned it into windows vista business. my computer has been acting strange lately and i want to delete everything off my hard drive. if i do this and restore to the factory settings, will it be windows vista home basic again or will it stay windows vista business? also how do i delete everything? i remeber my cousin told me i had to start a program and it does it for you but i forgot what it was?

These are the reccomendations from my college for a laptop. Recently i have been looking at Macs and maybe an HP. I have been leaning towards the Mac but have heard it isnt good for business majors. Please reccomend a computer that would be most appropriate for a business major that won’t have problems with viruses or crashing.

i have never had a mac but i have looked at them before and have liked them alot. The past couple of computers i’ve owned are hp’s i believe and i have never really had any problems

I am a student, business major and currently i have a desktop. I am looking for an affordable laptop for my computing need… the only problem is that i dont know how much ram.. hard drive, what kind of processor or anything. I know what a want physically but i dont know what is good as far as the insides. Could someone please tell me what is recommended as far as computer and laptops go?

Can you also give where you can buy it?
I was thinking of getting this one.
