Best Laptop Computer for a Student?
I’m going to college this fall and I’m in desperate need of a laptop. I’m so lost as to what computer to choose. It will be used mostly for research online, typing papers, editing photos, and entertainment as I will not have a tv or dvd player in my dorm. My budget is under 00. Thanks for helping 
I would also need it to be portable so a screen size bigger than 16" is going to be a hassle…
Which computer should I get for college?
I am going to college next year and I am starting to look at laptops, I’m not going into computers or business so I just need a standard computer. I am thinking about a Mac but i was wondering if microsoft office works well on it and if i can do things like powerpoints on my mac and then present it using a pc? What do you suggest for a good laptop for a college student that would work well with projects and things like that.
Computer Science Major – Which Laptop Should I Get?
I will be going to college this fall and will study Computer Science and Business Management. I am trying to decide which laptop I want to get. Price isn’t really a huge issue but I really don’t want a Dell and I can’t get a Mac because of college preferences. I am currently considering either a Sony Vaio ( E Series or F Series) or an HP (dv6t or dv7t). If anyone has any info on these 4 laptops or comments that might help me I would really appreciate it.

What is the best laptop computer for a college student?
i need to buy a new laptop but i dont know what the best one would be for my specifications. i really only need it for basic stuff like pictures and music, but i need to store a lot of both. i also watch movies/tv shows online. and since i am going to college i need a computer with long battery life so that i can bring it to classes.
what computer brand/model would you recommend for someone like me, i really dont know much about computers so any recommendations are appreciated.
