I was wondering what the best computer brand name would be for gaming and such things. I don’t want a mac. Because Mac gamers have a very small community. (And windows just rocks) I guess i would like price and performance. I guess that may not be possible when it comes to expensive computer hardware,

The computer has to last too. It will be jostled around due to my physical activities.

hey whats the BEST desktop OR LAPTOP computer for gaming and has a VERY good battery life (laptop) and something that won’t freeze for HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS…… I have an hp Pavilion dv600 and it’s a complete piece of sh!t i can’t stand it…. i spent over 00 on it and it’s already been 3 years and it’s horrible, but besides that whats the best computer out there for me?? and i don’t have a ton of stuff on here i only have itunes installed on here and mozilla fire fox, and it’s always freezing somone help? just tell me whats the best computer for me please? help??????/

What is the best Computer or Laptop out there (besides alienware) thats compatible and almost lag free with Combat Arms.

I am goign to college this year and am wondering what would be the best computer for a major in business. I am thinking about a Mac and being able to run Windows on when I need to, but some PCs also look intriguing. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I am looking for some recommendations for the best computer I can build for a 00 budget. Use all 00 but don’t go over that. (oh and you can exclude Video Card, Tower, Monitor, and Sound Card because I already have those covered)

Build me the best computer with these parts and use newegg.com or tigerdirect.com website or any reputable website and name the item and price. (please no used or refurbished parts)

Things to include in the budget:
1. Motherboard
2. CPU
3. Ram (Memory)
4. Maybe even a hard drive.. I have a couple but they are not very fast so maybe I can speed that up but if you think thats not a huge deal don’t worry about that in the final price.
5. (oh, and if a 750watt power supply is not enough to power up the computer your building then may need one of those included.. if it is big enough then exclude this from the 00) Thanks!
I already have a desktop and a laptop but im looking for ONE insanely fast one to replace my current one so I can sell this one. time for an upgrade. looking for suggestions.

I will probably be purchasing another small computer. I have a HP WIN/7 laptop that is about 9 months old. I also have a larger Acer WIN/Vista laptop which is very heavy to carry around. I don’t like carrying around the Acer because last June the laptop fell on my foot and broke it! I also have a Gateway WIN/2000 OS which is a very good desktop computer for business use.

I had a small Dell netbook that I returned to the store about 2 months ago. It kept on crashing and I finally had enough and returned it. I like the smaller laptops that are light. I can’t afford a Apple computer but I know that they are by far the best computer out there. I have also been considering buying an Apple IPad just for browsing the web. I suffered a bad knee sprain this past month so I’m kind of laid up right now.

I have been doing family tax returns and earned money doing it. I thought I take the little bit of extra money that I earned and get a good little netbook or IPad.

I am trying to get a new desktop computer but I have no clue how to choose a computer my parents are willing to spend at least 0 possibly even 0 on a computer (no monitor, keyboard, or mouse). We have been looking around but I don’t know much about computers and they don’t either. So I was wondering what would be the best computer to get I will be using it for playing mmo s and playing Sims and other games, but I also need it to do school work for high school and collage and I need it to last.So what should I look for in a computer and what are the best brands should I consider Emachines(they seem to be the cheapest but i have one and its not very good but it is 11 years old)?
What about GateWay are their computers any good?

i want to get a lenovo t61. what specs should i get, in terms of processor, ram, hard drive, battery life, etc, if i play to do a lot of business stuff and run microsoft visual studio c++ a lot and other programming stuff. i want the best computer without overkill. i want to keep this labtop affordable. thanks

So, I love my computer that I have now, but it’s starting to act its age. My major is business; particularly business accounting. What do you think the best computer (laptop) would be best for me!? I’ve been looking at the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge, but if anyone has any better ideas, let me know =)

Money is certainly an issue, however, not one that I can’t eventually overcome (meaning that the cheapest quality computer would be nice, but if desktops under ,000 won’t do the trick, still mention your recommendations). I’m planning to film/edit/produce my own entire full-length film (full-length as in an estimated 2 hrs or more), and am looking for the best computer to do it with. I currently use a 3-year-old Gateway laptop with a poor graphics card and hardly any memory, which, of course, is far from optimal for such a task. I’m searching to find a Windows Desktop (sorry Mac fans, I’ve just never cared for the interface…or the price tag) with enough memory, RAM, and graphics capabilities necessary to run programs such as Sony Vegas 8 and Adobe After Effects with minimal freezing, locking up, and with a decent loading time. If anyone could even just give me some specs to look for in computers, I’d be ecstatic, for as of right now, I’m completely lost on where and how to start looking.
