I really need to replace an Apple iMac desktop that is almost nine years old. I would like to buy a used Apple laptop, but will also consider a used Apple desktop or even a Windows machine. I know that it’s always best to spend as much as one can afford to get the computer you really want, but I’m wondering if there is any way to get a decent used machine. I welcome all suggestions & answers.

I am starting a medical transcription business, but I need flexibility where I set up the computer, so I was thinking a laptop will work. I could connect a regular keyboard for comfort when typing if needed, right? Also what is a port and what does it do? What does the stand do? I"m quite clueless.

Eh, I have a few power supplies around here somewhere, one of them is bound to be good enough. I always can afford to buy a new power supply when if i need to. I also want one that comes with a free upgrade to Windows 7 because I cant deal with Vista.

I am trying to choose between HP4GB Athlon II or Acer IntelPent T4500 4GB What is the better computer? I need VGA & HDMI connections on whatever one I buy!

I have a Dell computer and yesterday I just got a MacBook laptop. I have internet through Comcast (the business that took over insight) It’s high speed and no dial-up I just click internet when I turn on my computer & I’m on.

My question is can I use my Comcast internet for my laptop? Like can I just take the cord out of my computer and plug it into my laptop? I KNOW ABOUT THE WIRELESS. If I have to use wireless then just say that..

If I can use my computer internet how do I do it????
