How can I buy a good used laptop computer for my start-up home business?

Things I should watch out for: I plan to use the laptop to show, in Powerpoint, sales presentations to potential clients, to make on-line purchases, to gather new marketing info, and to keep track of business transactions, etc. Any ideas, thanks for the suggestions.

now that a good laptop brand new is under $500 go to frys.com they’re the best and a well equiped used one is hard to find.

Check out the outlet section of major manufacturers and retailers like dell, averatec, ecost and geeks

    definitely go to http://www.ebay.com
My friend picked one up for $800 below retail of a new one.
The key is to find ones that end at unusual times e.g. 4am or have the wrong spelling.
