ASAP: How do I save a dvd file to my desktop computer so I can burn it?
I have a business presentation on a dvd disc and I need to burn 20+ copies by tomorrow. Is there a way to save this onto the computer but more importantly can I make copies of this disc with basic computer software or do I need to purchase something to be able to burn it? As soon as possible, please.
You can use the Read function in IMGburn to create an image file of the disk on your hard drive.

Then you can use the Write function with that image to burn disks with IMGburn.
It’s solid software, simple interface, I’ve been using it for years. It’s also easy on resources, and it’s fully functioning freeware.
if u want it 2 work on a dvd player u need 2 buy a video converter, it takes a long time, then it burns itself 2.
If your computer came with a DVD Burner, then the software is already on there. Probably "Roxio" or or "Sonic RecordNow", or "Nero" (there are many others too). Once you find the program, you can do a direct copy "disc to disc" & just set it to make 20 copies (you’ll obviously have to babysit it & switch the discs when it tells you to).
use a dvd ripper to save the file in your desktop and for burning use a dvd burner, I think nero has one.
